1) The role we play

  • Controller for: visitors to bridalmarketer.com, people who enquire with us, boutique staff we liaise with.

  • Processor for: lead/appointment data you, the retailer, share with us or ask us to handle. (See Data Processing section.)

2) What we collect

  • Contact & business details: name, email, phone, boutique name, role.

  • Lead & booking info: form answers (e.g., style quiz), appointment dates, notes.

  • Comms & recordings: emails, WhatsApp messages, call outcomes (not call audio by default).

  • Usage & device data: pages visited, identifiers, cookies, IP, approximate location.

  • Billing: invoices, payment confirmations (we do not store full card numbers; payments handled by processors).

3) How we use it & legal bases

  • Provide services & support (run campaigns, book appointments, advise): Contract / Legitimate Interests.

  • Measure & improve performance (CPL/CPA, funnel analytics): Legitimate Interests.

  • Marketing (our services) via email/SMS/WhatsApp (business-to-business): Legitimate Interests; where required, Consent (PECR).

  • Legal/Compliance (tax, fraud, regulatory requests): Legal Obligation.

  • You (web forms, Calendly bookings, emails, WhatsApp).

  • Your systems (e.g., Pipedrive/CRM) when you engage us as processor.

  • Ad platforms & analytics (Google Ads/Analytics, Meta) and form tools (Typeform).

  • Public sources where lawful and relevant (e.g., business websites).

5) Sharing & international transfers

We use vendors (“processors”) to run the service, for example:

  • Google (Google Ads, Analytics, Workspace)

  • Typeform (forms)

  • Calendly (scheduling)

  • Pipedrive or similar CRM (lead management)

  • WhatsApp/Meta (communications)

  • Stripe or banking (payments)

  • Cloud hosting/CDN (e.g., Framer/Cloudflare)

Some providers store data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on UK Addendum to SCCs, adequacy decisions, or other lawful safeguards.

6) Retention

  • Prospects & site enquiries: 24 months from last meaningful contact, unless you ask us to delete earlier.

  • Client project data: life of the contract + 24 months, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Invoices & company records: 6+ years (legal obligation).
    We may keep minimal suppression records to honour “do not contact” requests.

7) Your rights (UK GDPR)

You can access, rectify, erase, restrict, object (including to direct marketing), port your data, and withdraw consent where relied upon.

We use essential cookies and analytics/advertising technologies (e.g. GA4, Google Ads).

  • We process only on your instructions, keep it confidential, implement appropriate security, and assist with rights requests.

  • We use sub-processors listed above for delivery.

  • On contract end, we return or delete personal data, unless law requires retention.

11) Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
